This online program is designed with you in mind. Keep your day job and complete your master’s degree at the same time. ASU offers certification and non-certification options for the M.Ed. in Elementary Education program.
As of the 2013-2014 school year, there were 284,645 elementary education students in 1,083 schools comprising more than 38 percent of all students in public schools in the state of Alabama*. With a strategic plan in Alabama to prepare all students to be successful in college and/or career upon graduation from high school, there has never been a better time for finding and training the next generation of elementary educators.
Alabama is not alone in its planning for the future and this program is designed to find and prepare elementary educators who have a passion to make a difference in the lives of young students.
