Master of Education with a Concentration in Early Childhood & Elementary Education

Passionate. Committed. Ready to Make a Difference.

Do these words describe you? Our Master of Education program prepares you to enlighten and make a difference in young lives with a concentration in  Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.

If you want to build upon your skills, this online program is designed for you – allowing you to earn your degree while still working. ASU offers certification and non-certification options for both concentrations in the online Master of Education program.

The certification option will result in a master’s level teaching certification; only Alabama teachers with a Class B certification can enter the certification option. The non-certification option is open to candidates from education and other backgrounds who are interested in obtaining a master’s degree in education. Candidates from in and outside of Alabama, without a Class B or other teaching certificate may apply; the non-certification option will not result in a teaching certificate at the end of the program.

Alabama State University offers you the unique combination of a rich history with a new technology-rich online program. Earn your advanced education degree with as few as 10 courses—completely online.

Our admissions advisors will support you personally through the admissions process. Fill out the form on this page to get started.
